information about morocco  RabatMorocco, Rabat-Salé
Kasbah des Oudaias is the oldest part of Rabat. Is a very compact and charming place, but still there's quite a lot of dirt in the streets.

According to two votes it's spam??!! I'm just wondering if members, who rated this picture 1 star are decent enough to reveal their names and justify their grades. I think grading shouldn't be anonymous. It's even more sad (for the whole community I think) that we have members here who deliberately downgrade (maybe also upgrade but their own) pictures. Interestingly all the pictures I recently added have been downgraded.

I am speechless anymore....

terje - Jun, 20 2008 07:06am
hmmm, strange... I would have rated this at at least 4,5! :-)

Now is the time to open the records to everyone and show all votes there appears to be some fairly consistent spoiler at work

andreas - Jun, 20 2008 09:06am
That is a truely nice picture. Hard to believe that someone would rate it low. However the pic has 11 votes and the system prevents strong downgrading by only one person. Rating is a "hot" topic. You guys know my opinion that I am agains transperancy in that matter. Open votes will lead in my opinion to 4* and 5* votes only which takes the whole voting process obsolet. However as this probleme comes back again and again I have jumped over my shadow and implemented transperency into new votes. As written in my forum posting, votes from now on will be no longer anonymous. Of course we do not open any old records. What used to be anonymous will stay anonymous in the future as well. Let's see what the future brings!

Let me try this open voting. Can you see how many stars I am giving? I like the picture, by the way - it looks like a Mediterranean seasite resort's little street...

marianne - Jun, 20 2008 10:06am
Krisek, can't see what your vote is (bet it is 5*) . Adam, this photo is so very beautiful and I love the colours especially the green awning 6* ifthat were possible

andreas - Jun, 20 2008 12:06pm
Sorry to go a bit of topic here. I just saw the posting of Krisek and Marianne. The open votes are accessible inside the member accounts. For example here: http://www.globosapiens.net/krisek/activities.html Krisek for example voted 4* on this one. I would like to avoid discussions on why someone voted 3* instead of 5*, which is why it is inside each account and not underneath each picture. That way we can identify downgraders, while in the same time one can make his/her vote without pressure :-)

Nice colourful picture, technically 5*but I find the pots citchy [3.8]

rangutan - Jun, 20 2008 01:06pm
Again, I wish members would wait till 10 ratings have been given before panicing. The rating here should still go up a bit even after 15 ratings! :-)

adampl - Jun, 21 2008 06:06pm
Rudi, I didn't get panicked when somebody doesn't like one of my pictures and rates it 2* or 3* when I think it's worth at least 4*. It was downgrading that was the case here and with other pictures too.

I think it's great but if I thought it was only just 2, I shouldn't mind anybody knowing. If I thought it was a 1, I should send a private message, as I fairly often have.
Having been to Marrakech fairly recently, I know how awkward it can be to get a picture like this. Well done and thanks.
