I just really felt it was necessary to issue a gentle warning to those visiting our beautiful part of the world. If you are renting accommodation in our area, please check and re check about people who handle your bookings. There have been a number of people who take deposits but are not official agents for the places and some are loosing money and are stranded without place to stay. My advice - get hold of the local tourist department and check who is officially handling the reservations for the accommodation.
