People needed to drive across the saraha in aid of African charity.

We depart from England and meet in Portugal in Dec 06 from there we pick up our land rovers and equipment and drive to the ferry to cross to Morroco drive through to Mauritania through Senegal and in to The Gambia you will stay at the charities base THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP i look forward to hearing from you. for more information please call 0787 1025 869

.. no thanks..[not for me personaly] because that i think this not how to raise funds for charity because the COSTS are more than benefits than Africa will ever eventually recieve? Or, have I missed a point or something .... ? RR







Members please also support UNICEF or any other efficient major organisation

This is a conservation and community project based in The Gambia since 1995 the benefits do far out way the costs, the people traveling will spend time at the Park and contribute to all the projects that the money raised will be spent on, and if you are just speculating on "the cost out weighing the benefits" then you need to research! for example http://www.banjulchallenge.com/

The benefit and reward for the people taking part in this are a lesson in life and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the world and do some thing for those less fortunate than them selves!



Don't knock it with out reasearching or asking for more information

I have 6 people confirmed so far, thats 3 vehicles and 6 bikes :) we are going to go Dune Cycling on the way.



can any one suggest any other semi safe desert sports? can you sand board?
