need some up to date info on Egypt and Tanzania

What is the same for Tanzania? I have done some research on this but am getting conflicting answers. The embassies here usually charge an arm and a leg for issuing one from Canada. I know it is alot cheaper to get one at the airport on landing. ie: The Ethiopian Embassy here wanted to charge $100 for a visa. I got one off the plane for $30 I need this info asap. It has been the same price for a long time. I'm Norwegian, and don't know if there are different regulations for different nationalities though (?) --- I have travelled a lot in Tanzania and especially in Zanzibar and would be glad to give advice to other Globo members.
