Hello

I just returned from SA. If you travel on a budget with a backpack the best solution is to take a bus from Joburg to Nelspruit. Inexpensive hostels ale located in Hazyview - close to the park gate. They offer pick-up from Nelspruit and they will organize your 1-5 days stay in a park.

www.krugerparkbackpackers.com or funkymonkeys@yebo.co.za

Expect to pay from 65 rand for the dorm bed...

Good luck!

There are very limited hotel rooms in the park, some (luxury) near the park. The park itsself offers cottages and camping - reserve well in advance! If a problem, the park is OK for day trips, outlaying towns have hotels, guesthouses and cottages for rent, many access points to the KNP.
