To surf or not to surf , flat? is the queastion. If you travel on a budget with a backpack the best solution is to take a bus from Joburg to Nelspruit. Inexpensive hostels ale located in Hazyview - close to the park gate. They offer pick-up from Nelspruit and they will organize your 1-5 days stay in a park. www.krugerparkbackpackers.com or funkymonkeys@yebo.co.za Expect to pay from 65 rand for the dorm bed... The park itsself offers cottages and camping - reserve well in advance! If a problem, the park is OK for day trips, outlaying towns have hotels, guesthouses and cottages for rent, many access points to the KNP.
