Gangotri Glacier - India The glacier on top of the first mountain you can see on this picture is the origin of the famous Ganga River. which you can see on this picture, when it's still very cold and nice to drink after a long solo trekking. Walking from the famous Gangotri temple along the valley to the origin of the glacier not only gives breathtaking views but also a spiritual experience to the inner world of the traveller.
