An enjoyable city

I m biased here cos this is where i was born and the city i love most in the world -and the one i know better, though it s so big i ll never be able to grasp it completely- so i hope you enjoy it as much as i do!!

close to the Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA) is this park.

The city caters all tastes, with 129 museums, 86 places to dance tango and 190 theatres, lots of art and culture and tons of friendly latin people. Bs As has it all, whether you re looking for fun and nightlife or just peace and quiet at some park surrounded by nature drinking the traditional MATE...

Planetario Galileo Galilei. This is my favourite!!!!!!! at Palermo parks. El Rosedal is close by.

CAMINITO, colourful street in La Boca neighborhood.

SAN TELMO ... An old charming neighborhood..

Recoleta is a really cool graveyard - it's where Evita is buried. its interesting and also u dont have to spend a lot of time there, just cross the street and u ll be in the most posh downtown area in Bs As, there are restaurants, nightclubs, beer brewing bars, icecream parlours, museums, the hard rock cafe, Village cinemas and even a law university!! Recoleta is definitely a worth visiting neighborhood.

*Mataderos Fair ... Feria de Mataderos. The Mataderos Market is open on Sundays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and offers an exhibition of Handicraft and Argentine Popular Traditions. http://www.feriademataderos.com.ar

What's really great:
Tango, our sensual melancholic dance...

While in Bs. As. you can dance to tango, watch a game of polo, try mate and asado (Argentinian meat) but most importantly the tasty dulce de leche.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES & TANGO
There are so many choices that you might not know where to start.
I suggest going to the Colon theatre, our main one, which is huge and fabulous, even if you re not interested in opera or ballet or classical music, you should go and take the guided tour within the theatre that will show it s hidden spots. you shouldn t miss it !

I suggest you enjoy Tango at the parks during the weekends. San Telmo, Caminito in La Boca and many other neighbourhoods have dancers doing the tango in the parks, for instance u ll find them in Barrancas de Belgrano every Sunday from 7pm onwards and this is so in many other parks...
Of course there are places where you can learn like La Viruta or Parakultural among dozens of others...

Nightlife:
Mint and El Santo in Punta Carrasco, please bear in mind they re both by the river and the second one is in the open air so preferably go in summer or spring time :)

Hangouts:
Kilkenny on Reconquista street, near the Sheraton hotel of Retiro neighbourhood... good music, good drinks, nice people...

Restaurants:
Siga la Vaca and Sucre are 2 of my favourites... The first one is all u can eat of Argentine meats, chicken and salads...
