If you're looking for cheap hostels just go to Khao San Road. Safe, fun and with all the facilities, Khao San Road is a little street plenty of cheap guesthouses, restaurants, pubs, shops, banks, etc .... Is a good place to start your Thailand journey. The last time in Bangkok we stayed at Rembrandt hotel on Sukhumwit Soi 18. It is close to Asok skytrain station so it is easy to get around from there. Sure! Find a travel agency in Khao San Road is quite easy. There are several ones working with the best South-East-Asian flight rates. Don't worry! Check about Olavi tours, N.S.
