Hi Globies

We have more low-cost carriers nowadays, but most of them are short-range only.

Did you hear about inexpensive flights from Europe to Australia? AirAsia fly from KUL to Australia, but this require stop in KUL and you have to pay extra airport taxes.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Wojtek

Dear Wojtek,

Budget Tiger Airways (http://www.tigerairways.com/) fly from SIN to Australia and as far as I remember are cheaper than AirAsia. You can fly to SIN from Poland for as low as 2200 zloties (plus taxes) with LH. There is one agency in Poland that somehow makes the price ca. 20% cheaper that on LH website. Should you need more info, please contact me directly - I think you have my email. All in all it's possible to get from Poland to Australia for less than 3500 zloties. If you don't mind many plane changes you can do it with budget airlines for 3000 or for the same price with a regular carrier discounted fare (eg. Finnair flying to BGK for ca. 1700 zloties).

Best,

Adam Hoszman
