I am visiting a few countries in (beginnong) November 2010, Bangkok and KS being 2 of them.
My intent is to visit Bangkok (3 nights) to experience the chaos and to be near the party nightlife, near good food and good travel links to visit the temples and markets during the day. Can anyone recommend a good, clean budget hotel or 2 bedroom apartments? There will be 2 of us travelling (both male).
We will then be venturing onto KS for a few nights to relax and recover. We are wanting to stay in a relatively upmarket place and take advanatge of the cheap massages on the beach, eat good local food but also have the option of further partying in the nightlife. Even though we wish to stay in a luxury hotel, I wouldn't want to be surrounded by honeymooners or families with children.
I would like a location/hotel which is quiet socialable but do not wish to stay at backpacker grade of accommodation. I welcome any advice or help.
