Hi there,

In the beginning of october I will have 12 hour layover at the Hong Kong airport before continuing my travels to Australia. In those 12 hours I would like to see the city or go to Lantau Island. Does anyone know how to arrange this?

Is there an tourist office at the airport or a website to arrange this?

Thanks for your help!

Sam

Trips to Hong Kong island or lantau island can be arranged via booking offices at the airport.

This website may help you to decide where to go.

Sam,

I know there is a metro line at the airport that takes you into the heart of the city, really quickly.

I hope you have a wonderful time.

The airport express will whisk you into Kowloon or Central in under 30 minutes. From there you have Hong Kong at your feet.

Get the bus from under Exchange Square, right next to the station, up to the peak. Or hop onto the MTR and explore to your hearts content. The Airport is on Lantau, just hop on a bus outside.

All signs are bi lingual and it's really easy to get around.
