Daintree - along Captain Cook Highway about 3 hours drive from Cairns is the Daintree National Park. It is best explored by a 4x4 vehicles as the rivers and creeks can you quite high, any other vehicle could get stuck.
The rainforest is beautiful with so many things of interest to see, from the magnificent birds, fruit bats, tree snakes to even crocodiles. The highlight of any trip would be to see crocodiles in their natural habitat. [edit text][editors]
