Manly is a simple 30-minute ferry ride from the centre of Sydney (Circular Quay). It is the second most popular beach next to Bondi, even though it’s closer to Sydney.
It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal in Manly Cove and you can’t get lost, as all you need to do if follow all the other people past the shops to the beach front.
It is sheltered by a small wall and is fairly narrow. It is a place for more of an everyday person; where if you’re not in to surfing or admiring the sun kissed lifeguards et al, you can feel right at home there. I really enjoyed this beach. It’s a great place to hang out. [edit text][editors]
