Duke's Apartments
Great apartments in Perth. Hi there, has anyone else stayed in any of the Duke’s Apartments in Perth. We were so surprised by how good they were. We booked over the internet, and they are obviously a small company so we were a bit worried about whether the apartment would have been as good as it looked. It was better. It was in a great location, we could walk into the City, and the complex was terrific with a huge pool, a spa and a sauna. It was spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels as well. We saved a fortune, as there were 7 of us and we could cook our own meals, although we ate out some nights as there are plenty of restaurants in Perth. It only cost us about $135 (aud) a night, and that was for all of us, so great value. Have a look at their web site on http://www.dukesapartments.com more

billabong backpacker resort
great hostel, good price, clean room. about 20 minute drive from airport in taxi, but there is a regular shuttle bus to and from the airport several times a day, good price etc. decent double room, shared toilets/ showers etc. book all your tours at from desk. good internet, self catering facitlities, free brekkie every morning. 5 minute walk to PETES greasy spoon cafe, 10 minute walk to city centre, restaurants, shops, cinema, nightlife.
if you like wine, you gotta go on the wine tasting tour through the "SWAN VALLEY" region. you visit 5 boutique wineries, a boutique brewery, and a chocolate factory, the day also includes a fantastic lunch, and pick up/ drop off at your accommodation. and the highlight of the tour is Claude ! a great aussie bloke, great sense of humour, very friendly, he really makes the whole day worth while, and the cost is just $80 ausD = £32.
