Travel guide to Gambier Town
In an extint crater
In an extint crater
Gambier Town is located at the border of two states - Adelaide and Victoria. Gambier is famous for it Blue Lake and Little Blue Lake. You may ask, what’s so famous about it? Well, for some mysterious strange reason, perhaps only nature knows, every November, the water changes to an unbelievable turquoise blue and in March, it reverts to it normal greyish blue colour.

Not only that, Gambier is most importantly the home to an ancient volcanic crater that lies extinct. Many visitors are drawn to the Umpherstone Sinkhole to tour the beautiful terrace gardens of the extinct volcano.

Another must do is to explore the vineyards and of course the Princess Margaret Caves. And if you have an appetite for seafood, then go to the fishery and get yourself some succulent lobsters (already cooked), squeeze some lemon and you are ready to eat! [edit text]  [editors]
