Travel guide to Lake Tyers
Lake Tyers
Lake Tyers
Lake Tyers is part of the Lake Entrance’s attraction of the Gippsland Region. This historical town is an original Aboriginal settlement, which explains why the only co-op in the town is run by an Aboriginal. A must-do in Lake Tyers, is the lake itself, followed by exploring the town around Lake Tyers Beach, and the Aboriginal land known as Bung Yardna. Head on to Stony Creek Railway Bridge to view one of the largest wooden bridges still standing in Australia, which was built in 1916. If you love fishing, this is where you can spend your time enjoying your hobby. [edit text]  [editors]
