Member opinion: Located on the outskirts of Bahariya Oasis, making it quieter (Egyptians know how to use their car horns), the hotel is probably better known for it's hilltop view than its rooms. The rooms are in an arc, surrounding a courtyard and fountain with a detached main building/restaurant. The food is standard, buffet breakfast is included. The rooms themselves are clean and efficient, have mosquito netting, which even in June was required, and small but full featured bathrooms. This is 3 star at best, but affordable at $22 US/night. THE REAL PAYOFF: A quick climb to the top of the hill behind the hotel affords you a 5 star sunset and a dramatic view over this huge Oasis.
