The storm over Warsaw's by basia

Warszawa - Poland I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Warsaw, when suddenly at 2 am awakened by the storm. I managed to photograph lightning.

I am sure the city is much more glamourous now but in those far off days the Lot Airline Office / Marriot tower appeared as a space vehicle full of extreme luxury which had somehow set down beside the main railway terminus in Warszawa. jacko1 - Jun, 03 2011 06:06pm A very good shot, photographing lightning usually requires a lot of luck and even more patience, most shots of this type are often stills from videos, well done! krisek - Jun, 07 2011 10:06am Excellent effort, Basia. Capturing lightning is extra difficult. It does require a lot of patience and luck, as well. It was very difficult to do this photo. First of all, capturing lightning and and also in the hotel (21 floor) are not opening up the window. And to make matters even wrong, it was raining.
