Member opinion: This bar restaurant is located in the famous Hutong district where you can see old Beijing, though nowadays it is filled with trendy bars, pubs and restaurants on the main road along the lake side. About 20m away from the main street on one of the side streets, you will find this quiet restaurant in red. Inside, it is decorated with photos of other parts in China. The waitress told me that they are from her photography teacher, but I forgot to ask whether he is the owner. She is nice and friendly, explaining us their special dishes. They serve Sichuan food and self-made noodle. The portion is not big but delicious, with own recipes and a bit of fusion style. The atmosphere is good. Only cash is accepted. It has been open a few months before I was there in Sept 2007.
