Come in Merzouga to discover the desert

We hoped discover the desert and the life in it, so we decided to go in Morocco near Erfoud. After some researches we read some articles about Merzouga and Ibrahim and his riad.

We travalled throught desert with a guide. This journey has been possible because of Ibrahim organized it.

He had a riad in Merzouga and he proposes to people some excursions in the desert. We accepted to go to his home and we discovered desert by dromadaries.

We stayed 5 days and nigths in the desert.

It was wonderfull. It was quiet, immense..

Favourite spots:

The silence of the desert give us the possibility to admire the nature, the sky in the night and all his stars.

What's really great:

The real colour of nature. The sky was blu and it contrasts with the dunes.

Accommodations:

We travelled by dromadaries and a guide.
We slept in the desert, it was quiet, no soucy.

	Pigeons farcis

Ibrahim cooked for us when we were in the riad. Good cooker! He made us discover some typical plates of Merzouga.
And during a visit near a shop we eaten Manfouda. It was very delicious.
