Sao Paulo is the capital of Sao Paulo state, one of the most industrious cities in South America. It's also known as the 3rd largest city and driving through the city reminds you of the fact. City is extremely over populated and it's very difficult to get around even with a map. Be ware of the "motoboys" who can be rude if you're not careful. Travel light if you can and don't walk around like a tourist, taking pictures here and there...there are scam artist and thiefs waiting for you...The metro however is unbeatable and one of the best means of transportation, I believe in the world. It's constantly getting remodeled and hence it's becoming an artform of its own. Visit Av. Paulista if you can, and immerse yourself among the fast pace city life Sao Paulo has to offer. But beware, more than 2 days and you can go crazy...especially if you spend nearly 80% of your precious time in traffic. [edit text][editors]
