João Pessoa is the capital of the state of Paraíba, in the northeast area of Brazil. The metropolitan area of João Pessoa includes three satellite cities, where approximately 750.000 inhabitants live. Also, located here is Seixas' beach, the eastern-most point on the American continents: the Ponta do Seixas.
Our climate is hot and dry, but, softened by the winds of the sea.

João Pessoa é a capital do estado da Paraíba, região nordeste do Brasil. Aqui, na praia do seixas, está o ponto mais oriental dos continentes americanos: a Ponta do Seixas. A área metropolitana de João Pessoa inclui mais três cidades satélites, onde vivem, aproximadamente, 750.000 habitantes.
