Siem Reap is the perfect base to visit the absolutely amazing temples of Angkor Wat. It is a really fabulous little town that has a great atmosphere and everything a traveller needs including great accommodation, fabulous restaurants, and many Internet cafes.
The various temples known as Angkor Wat are the main sights without a doubt. The sheer grandeur, scale, and number of temples in the area are mind-blowing.
