I was travelling Australia in 2000. Started up in Sydney and was heading all the way up to Cairns and Cape Tribulation.. took a flight to Darwin and did some trips around that area. Then I was heading down the Stuart Highway passing a lot of interesting places like the Devils Marbles, Ayers Rock alias Uluru, the Olgas, Kings Canyon... and further down to the Flinders Ranges to end up in Adelaide. From there again I was driving all the way to Melbourne, passing the Grampians National Park and driving on the Great Ocean Road. Which actually was great! A train brought me back to Sydney. Being back there was quite a shock after beeing in the countryside.. it was just a week before the Olympics started.. so unbelievable packed with people.. but great. I must say that the Australians really did a good job. Everything was perfectly organised. So all in all it was a great trip in a great country with great people!!
