Wuxi is rapidly developing, and has earned the nickname, Little Shanghai.
It is also a major tourist spot on the Yangtze River. Nearby attractions include the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan, one of China’s largest, the Grand Canal, and Lake Tai, where fisherman regularly fish for freshwater pearls.
