České Budějovice (also called "Budweis") is an industrial and university city in Bohemia on the Vltava River and is the capital of the region.
Budweis is famous for its extremly large central square overlooked by the "Black Tower" and surrounded by most colourful baroque architecture.
The origin of the beer trademark "Budweiser" started here as far back as the twelfth century and some corporations till today still brew imitations internationally with the same name. The beer here is as smooth as mothers milk! [edit text][editors]
