It is NOT a zoo but both a wildlife park & sanctuary. The lions roam fairly freely in there NATURAL environment. They are tamed & very well fead but your safety is NOT guaranteed..... rangutan - Jun, 12 2006 11:06am Similar, I would not consider the gorillas in Rwanda to be in a zoo either - 20 years ago it was rare that travellers could get so close to wild animals like these.
