An excellent pub in a wonderful part of Wharfedale with good walks by the river, to Buckden Pike or over into Littondale [circular walks easy to plan]. Highly recommended for pub food. Accommodation also provided.
I was surprised to find it uncrowded in late July but the landlord says that August is now one of the least busy months of the year, people generally avoiding school holidays!
