When we had a recognisable national rail network in the UK, this line was part of it. It is now run by Arriva Trains Wales and is as much part of the 'national' network as the London to Birmingham line.
Whereas Llandrindod Wells may not be a very closely guarded secret, some of the smaller halts on the line will take you into virtually unknown places.
