information about thailand  AyuthayaThailand, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya
This Buddhist Temple is very nice, has lovely gardens, and a climb up the Chedi gave good views of the surrounds. The Wat was built in 1357 by King Ramathibodi, and has been known as Wat Pa Kaeo and Wat Chao Thai. There is also a Reclining Buddha here.

We were lucky as when we arrived, there was a ceremony happening for a young man who had just became a Monk. Much loud music and lots of excitement as the young man threw lucky charms into the crowd, and I managed to get one! Perhaps you may be lucky too!
