Member opinion: **This wonderful hotel was hit and devasted by the tsuanmi on the 26th December 2004. It is being repaired and restored - and reopens in August 2005** A great place to stay - What a location - Right on its own headland looking out to sea. The next stop is the Antarctic! Bays to the east and west of hotel are full of fishermen in catamarans. The Rooms are excellent and the beds so comfortable. The owner is Italian and charming. His restaurant is one of the best in the South of Sri Lanka. Good value recommended stay
