Member opinion: This park is Canada's most northerly botanic garden. It was founded in 1959 by the University of Alberta and has displays both indoors and outdoors. Covering nearly 32 hectares, it has dsiplays of native and alpine plants, a Japanese Garden, ecological preserves and a stunning variety of annuals and periennals. It is popular for weddings and special events.
