Vulcanic Hills speckle the Black Desert

Egypt's Black Desert is a magical sea of sand dunes floating around low hills. It gets its name from the sprinkling of iron ore that coats the surface, having once been pushed up from the earth by brutal force. Evry so often, Crystal mountians will poke up, literally covered in shards of sparkling quartz.

A drive on the dunes is an Indian Jones ride that will send you flying as you bounce from one dune to the next. Take the leap! Nothing beats running as fast as you can and leaping from the top of a dune into the warm soft sand below!

If you want to full experience the Black Desert, spend the night under its stars. Moon light will reveal scarabs as they trot over the dunes and the little desert foxes that will comes to explore your campsite. Sunset is a vivid orange and sunrise a soft deep rose. [edit text] [editors]
