One of the first sites you catch while walking amongst these ruins is the HUGE reclining Budda. The feet are 2 meters long all by them selves!

It is customary for many Buddists to purchase little sheets of gold foil to rub on to Buddas. Here you see it on the arm and face. Flowers are also frequently left - usually marigolds and jasmine.
