Columns of the Temple of Hibis's by eirekay

Kharga Oasis - Egypt, Al J¿zah The Temple of Hibis was built in the 6th century BC. The variety of columns was surprising. It was recently rebuilt after being buried for over 1,000 years. You will see numbers on some of the stones and plumb lines used to align the blocks when they tore down and re-erected. It is not open - a bribe got us in.
