Just how big is an Oasis's by eirekay

Siwa - Egypt, Maºrø± I was astounded by just how big an Oasis is. There is no transition between the Great Sahara and an Oasis. They are huge bowls of green in a sea of sand but the Oasis can stretch for miles and every inch of it is put to use!
