Khmer "Corn Cob" style chedi within Siamese Ruins's by eirekay

Ayutthaya - Thailand, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya As we saw in many locations, these Khmer styled "corn cob" chedis, so named for their traditional shape with rows if vertical angles, were frequently included in older Siamese ruins. Ayutthaya was a trading center during its time as the capital of Siam and the influences of various other styles often could be found.
