Lunar Landscape of Volcanic flows's by eirekay

San Vicente Pacaya - Guatemala, Escuintla The soil, rock really, was loose and almost impossible to walk on. I had expected a hard surface but instead it was chopped volcanic rock in 3"x3" pieces that sifted under foot, making the final accent a rough go in lots of ways!
