information about egypt  LuxorEgypt, Qinå
Cachette Court is the modern name given in 1903 when a trove of 20,000 statues and pieces was found with the walls of Luxor Temple. These pieces span 18 dynasty of Pharonic history. It is thought that as each new ruler came into power, he moved existing statues to this cache so that he could erect his own. Many of the pieces have been relocated or are in museum collections. Walking through the remains is fascinating!
