The Alpha-Male Ritchie Approaches To Feed...'s by el2995

Kuching - Malaysia We were near the back of the crowd as we left the main jungle feeding station, and when we got back to the park headquarters building we saw our guide talking with some of the staff members and them all looking up into the jungle canopy at the far side of the clearing. As we apprached him, he told us to be quite because it looked like the alpha-male of the center, the 28-year old Ritchie, was about ready to approach the small feeding station near the headquarters now that the main crowds had moved on and things were quieting down. We followed our guide along a walkway a short distance into the trees and scanned along the lines of cables that were strung through the trees to allow an approach path to the feeding station from the jungle. We then caught sight of Ritchie high in the tree watching us, and then watched his hand-over-hand/foot--over-foot progress along the sagging pair of cables towards the feeding station.
