I'm going to travel in east Crimea (Feodosia-Sudak cities region) for a 2008 summer with my mountainbike to do nothing but riding, swimming, fishing, sleeping :) and so on. I travel with sleeping bag so i can (and will!) live anywhere in wild nature. I'm a student, not a profesional guide or some sort.

I know this region (some lovely and beautifull wild and not so wild spots there) and i speak english a little, so maybe i'll be usefull for someone?

My e-mail: gritz@ua.fm

Sorry for my english :)

Best regards.

What to see in a region (there is an interesting places not at the coast only!) Look at triangle Feodosia city - town of Stari Krim -Sudak city on the map (Stari Krim is situated on a major road from Feodosia to Simferopol - aproximately 20 km from Feodosia)

Feodosia city (fortress and so on) and space communications center on the mountain near city, sea, cliffs and so

Koklyuk mountain (near Koktebel- between Nanikovo and Otvazhnoe vilages) - beautiful cliffs and sightseens

Dyrkovataya mountain (half way from town Koktebel to Schebetovka village) - unique landscape there - mountain with many holes of warios sizes (from 2cm to 2-4m

near small town Stari Krim - armenian monastery Surb-Hach (i know where is a second monastery which is ruined - in the mountains not so far from there), Agharmysh mountain, caves there (they are small - so it is not possible to go down but still interesting)

wine factories (sorry for my english) one at town Koktebel, one at Schebetovka village and another one at Solnechnaya Dolina Village - fine wines costs less there!

Biostation (nature museums) - at the foot of Karadag mountain (unfortunately Karadag mountain is closed - i don't know how to deal with the foresters to get there)

Cape Meganom (near Sudak) - unique landscapes

Chameleon Cape near Koktebel

Submarine optics factory in the town Ordzhonikidze - it was very very secret object in a past times and still closed for visitors but it is possible to carefully view it from the top of the hill (year ago i find a rusty gun from submarine at the sea coast - don't know if it still lies there)

Krasnokamenka village (from the top of the mountain it looks like Schweiz village :) - there is former storage facility for nuclear warheads of the soviet fleet (built under the mountains and still closed and guarded but it's possible to take a carefully one-eyed look at it :)

and many many other things, so if you will travel in east crimea feel free to ask questions.
