With the exception of York, Northern England and Wales seem to have very scant coverage so far. I see the recent outstanding report from Mags on Newcastle and a report on Leeds doing something for the balanceI hope to redress a bit furtherover time - being pretty well a naturalised Yorkshireman born in Plymouth [against which I have nothing to say - Devon's out in the cool too.]

Unfortunately I accidentally destroyed nearly all my photos of the UK and France when we moved a few years ago - so apologies in advance.

Welcome, Brian.

I have Welsh grandchildren at Rachub and Gerlan - near Bethesda - but on a number of travel sites I have been sorry to find no contributions coming from inside Wales.

Congrats on the Grand Slam by the way.

Cheers, David

thanks david.

im from Llangefni,Anglesey. If anyone wants any help/info on the area ill gladly help.Bethesda is a nice area,I drive through Bethesda on my way to one of my favourite parts of N.Wales, that place being Betws y Coed.

I visited Betws as a child and hadnt been there for about 15 years until I took up mountain biking a couple of years ago.I went there with friends and was quite embarrased that a place holding such astounding views and unbelievable sights had been on my doorstep and that I hadnt been there for so long.

Betws is certainly quite a place. I have put up a suggestion for it to be added to the site. I have always had these suggestions accepted so far and I will let you know, Scooby, if this one is - then you can do an introduction for it if you don't mind.

Betws-a-Coed is now approved on our database, Scooby. If yo put it in the search box at the top right of the page and click on enter, oyu can write an intra of between 100 and 1000 words, a travel tip or even a full report.

Cheers, David
