The photos in this album were taken in September, 2008. It was the Ramadan month. My team mates went for lunch but I was fasting, so I decided to go for a walkabout. There were many old buildings in Little India and most of them have not been fully restored. It was a great opportunity to experiment with the Sepia filter. With the sepia effect, the old run down buildings seems to have more character, some sort of rustic charm. The lighting wasn't the best as it was mid-afternoon. Indoor pictures are somewhat under-exposed.
Nevertheless, it was my chance to try out the filter and here are the results. You be the judge!
In comparison, I have the same photos in full color at the end of the sepia slideshow. In case you wondered what they looked like in vivid natural color. Photos were taken in Little India and the Tanjung Marina Club in Port Weld.
