Ruins of the Northern Monastery's by frenchfrog

Sakya - China, Tibet The North Monastery was founded in 1073 once housed 3000 monks but now lies in almost ruins. The main building still standing but is closed. The colours are typical from the town of Sakya. The particularity of this town is that most of the houses are painted dark blue with red stripes painted on it.
