Santorini is one of the most exotic of the Greek Isles and has bright clusters of buildings dramatically perched atop the rocky edges of an old volcano.
From the sea level, you ascend hundreds of twisting stone steps by foot or by donkey to reach the towns above. The main town, Fira, also features the Santorini Cable Car to ride up and down. Do take a boat ride to the Volcano Island.
