Frand Hals Museum specializes in 16th and 17th cent Dutch paintings; from portraits to city sea and landscapes and scenes from daily life. There are portraits of governors in full regalia and still lives with and without fish. An interesting painting is A Weavers' Workplace because it shows a slice of daily life in one of the many weavers'families that used to live in Haarlem.
