Amber was one the old capital of Rajasthan and has a wonderful fort that sits high on the hill overlooking the town.
It is the majestic fort that brings most tourists to the area and is reached by elephant. Depending on the time of year, queues can be quite long with waits up to an hour, but it really is the most fairytale way to enter the complex. [edit text][editors]
