Art gallery & Krishna Menon Museum
This art gallery and museum are situated approximately 5 kms from Kozhikode on the East Hill. The gallery houses paintings of raja ravi varma and raja Raja Varma.
The museum has a section dedicated to the great India leader Mr V.K.Krishna Menon, India's first high Commissionar to London and former defence Minister under Prime Minister Nehru. Mr Menon's personal belongings and souvenirs are exibited here. A very interesting place indeed ! more

An excellent and very popular vegitarian hotel very close to the 'Tali Temple", a powerful 14th centuary temple of Lord Shiva. One of my favourite hotels in Kozhikode for typical Kerala Vegitarian delicacies including Masala Dosai (filled pan cakes), Iddali, aappam and traditional Kerala lunch ( rice and curries).They also have a few tidy, budget priced single and double rooms for letting out as well. The hospitality here is truely out of the world. more
