Nikhil Beach Resort
Nikhil Beach Resort is not a resort at all, neither is it close to the beach.
It is right in the middle of Beach Road, the access road to the beach. In the immediate surroundings are restaurants and shops.
Nikhil has a variety of rooms:
standard rooms without balcony at Rs 350 (€7)
one de lux room, with small balcony overlooking Beach Road, AC, fridge at Rs 600 (€12)
Facilities include foreign exchange and internet.

Basuri Beach Resort
Don't be mislead by the words: 'beach' and 'resort'. The beach is some 500 m away, the sea is hidden by a 6-storey hotel. The hotel consists of two blocks of two stories each.
The rooms are spartan and even Spartans would find it Spartan. No television, no AC, but a fan. Small bathroom with hot water promised that ntever materialised.

Mama Chompos
Mama Chompos consists of a restaurant and two accommodation blocks, one with shared and the other with private facilities.
It is Tibetan run and very friendly. The restaurant serves Tibetan, Indian and Italian dishes. It overlooks Beach Road and is a pleasant place to sit when you are not on the beach.
The accommodation is very popular and may be full when you arrive late afternoon more
