surfers, bbq, cheeky monkeys(??...), northern hotel and the Byron Bay surf school. What else do you need..??!!..Byron Bay is the best place on the east coast of Australia...if you like to relax..surf..and going out in the evening. it is a pretty small town...but you can stay there for ages....

backpackers inn on the beach is the best hostel you can find in Byron Bay. Especially if you like surfing...it has a direct beach access. every saturday and wednesday you will get a bbq with free wine(GOON!!)or sangria.
the people who work in this hostel are the best...

if you like to dance..then you must go to Cheeky Monkeys. it's open till 3am. the music is pretty good....and if you want cheap and good food...you must go there too. the most important thing in Cheekys is that you dance on the tables...that awesome!!
another place where you can go for a dance is Cocomangas...i like this place more then cheekys...but ok..check it out yourself!

Byron Bay really has got the best pubs!!!...there are 3 really great pubs...
Hotel Great Northern..., Beach Hotel and The Railway Friendly Bar. You must go to Northern every thuesday...there is a man(the jukebox)...and he plays guitar..wow..he is awesome..really....
but in these 3 pubs a lot of bands play...you really need to check it out!

because i was a poor backpacker i didn't really went to restaurants..but if you want something pretty good and cheap..go to cheeky monkeys.
and you will get a lot of bbqs in your hostel....the bbq in backpackers inn on the beach is really good...you will pay 10 dollars and you will get hamburgers...sausages....chicken....bread...cheese....salad...sauce...and wine(on wednesday it is sangria)..a lot!

Byron Bay is small..but there are a lot of great spots...just walk around..get to know people and....see the great spots
